3 Easy Ways - Earn In Real

Here are just a few of the many things you can do in order to make money with your website.

1. Put Google Adsense ads on your site: Google is not just an awesome search engine, it is an advertising monster. Google has a very popular advertising program called ‘Google Adsense’. The way it works is you sign up for an account, select the layout, size etc. of the ads you would like to display on your site and paste a simple code that they provide to you on your site. This code will display ads on your site that will be relevant to your sites topic. Every time your site visitors click on the ads you get paid.

2. Promote Affiliate Links: There are millions of companies out there that have a product or service to sell. Most them are smart and realize that other people will promote their product or service for them if they can get a cut of the profits. That is why most big companies have affiliate programs. To get started, just find a product you would like to promote and see if they have an affiliate program. If they don’t just keep looking, they are not hard to find. You just sign up and they will provide you with a unique link that you can post to your website. You will earn a certain percentage of each sell through your link.

3. Sell Advertising Space: One of the biggest factors that the search engines factor into their algorithms in order to determine any given pages quality is the number of quality links pointing to their site. This is why it can be very valuable to sell advertising space on your website. Whether you get a lot of traffic or not, many webmasters may be interested in purchasing a small spot on your site to display their text-link or banner. To do this, just do some searches on Google for ‘link broker’. There are several services out there that unit link buyers and sellers.

As I stated above, these are only a few of the many ways in which one can start making money with a website. Look into these techniques further, take action and stick with it and I am confident that you can be making money with your website as soon as today.

Making Money From The Internet ? - Earn Easy Money Online

What does the downfall of the dot-coms mean to home-based entrepreneurs? Maybe not much. However, the question that plagues the dot-coms also haunt the small online entrepreneurs: how do we make money on the Internet?

The past few years have been a sobering experience for Internet entrepreneurs. The collapse of many high-profile dot-coms can be compared to a head-splitting hangover that just won't go away. Yes, the dot-com world has learned that even online businesses must make money in order to survive.

What does the continued downfall of the once-mighty dot-coms mean to home-based entrepreneurs? Maybe not much (unless you use their products or services).

The dot-com world seems too far removed from the humble operations of the home-based entrepreneurs. Unlike the dot-coms, the small online entrepreneurs do not have IPOs to consider, shareholders' interest to safeguard, public images built by costly primetime advertising to maintain. We also do not have venture capitalists on our backs pressuring us day-in-and-day-out to deliver, demanding quick returns of their money. We do not have hundreds of staffs to pay, chic offices to rent, and costly technology buys. What we lack in cash and capital, we compensate for total control of our businesses, growing our own online ventures at our own pace.

However, the question that plaques the dot-coms also haunt the small online entrepreneurs: how do we make money on the Internet?

Sell products or information

Selling a product, service or information is the best way to make money on the Internet. Customers pay you for a product or information. You can sell information-based products such as books, courses, kits, e-books, business research tools, and databases. Commercial products, on the other hand, can range from baskets, beads, handicrafts, toys, wine and liquor, electronic products from all over the world. The range of products that you can offer on the Internet is just incredibly wide.

You can also sell custom-made items or products you yourself manufactured, selling them directly on the Web without the wholesalers or retailers. As the manufacturer, the Web can enable you to reach your buyers directly, allowing you to set prices that are more competitive as you eliminate middlemen. You can also appoint dealers or what is called "affiliates" in the Internet and give out generous commissions for reasonable sales volumes. Your knowledge and understanding of your customers will also enable you to provide better customer service.

Having your own products to sell is the best strategy for making money on the Internet. You will not be thoroughly dependent on your traffic, as compared to businesses that rely on advertising for their revenues. Traffic is less valuable for e-commerce plays because revenue is more essential. The important question is "how much sales did I make today?" and not so much as "how many people visited my site today?" Although, of course, the next important consideration is: 'how much will they pay to keep it?'" In other words, will they keep coming back for more? The success of your site will depend on how well you are able to convert your traffic to sales, and how much of your customers will become repeat clients.

Sell advertising and ad products

The advertising model is a common business model on the Internet employed by both generalized and niche portals. Sites such as Yahoo and Blue Mountain make their living primarily by selling advertising.

To earn money through online advertising, your web site must provide content (usually, but not necessarily, for free) and services (like e-mail, chat, forums). You may offer free services such as collection of scripts or even web hosting. Advertisers then pay to reach your audience, with their advertising messages often presented in the form of banner ads. The banner ads will then be the major or sole source of your revenue.

However, the advertising model only works when the volume of viewer traffic is either large or highly specialized. If your site attracts a specialized market, such as home owners, new parents or home-based entrepreneurs, it can be highly sought after as a venue for certain advertisers who are willing to pay a premium to reach that particular audience. Nonetheless, the quality of your traffic is still essential.

Therefore, if you are going to pursue this revenue model, be sure that you can convince potential advertisers that have a solid customer base and that you can indeed reach your market. Advertisers may require a minimum number of page views that your site can deliver.

Sell consulting services

A number of small business entrepreneurs do a living on the Internet by selling consultancy services on a variety of subjects - from Internet marketing, import-export, securing loans, financial services, personal development, and many others. You can create a web site that aims to provide advice and guidance to people who may need help in your subject area. Website Analyst of Israel (http://www.website-analyst.co.il), for example, offers consultancy from Web site planning to publicity strategies. The creators of Internet Marketing Challenge (http://www.marketingchallenge.com) gathers a number of "Internet experts" and offers a collective consulting services to those requiring help in marketing effectively on the Internet.

Bring buyers and sellers together

You can also earn on the Internet, not by selling goods or information, but by bringing together buyers and sellers. An example of this is eBay, which have popularized the auction model. Market exchanges, business trading communities, buy/sell fulfillment and other B2B business models fall under this category.

Small online entrepreneurs can launch their scaled down version of B2B business models through sites that facilitate transactions, earning fees in the process. You can create a site where people sell a product or information to other people, and you take a cut of the transaction. For example, many netpreneurs have created classified ads sites, providing a listing of items for sale or wanted for purchase. They then earn from the listing charges regardless of whether or not a transaction occurs.

Another way for a home based entrepreneur to earn money using this approach is through the creation of online malls, where you provide a central place on the Net where people can find a particular business or service. You earn money through setup fees, monthly listing, and/or per transaction fees. Virtual malls, however, is best handled by an experienced Internet entrepreneur with some capital.

Sell subscriptions

Some small entrepreneurs sell subscription-based services over the Internet, although this could be the hardest. This model entails offering your content to members willing to pay your subscription fee.

However, a 1999 survey by Jupiter Communications found that 46 percent of Internet users would not pay to view content on the web. To succeed, you must offer high value-added content that is not available elsewhere for free. The Wall Street Journal (http://www.wsj.com) is an example of a successful subscription model. Generic news content, viable on the newsstand, has proven less successful as a subscription model on the web. Slate.com and TheStreet.com are good examples of these failures.

The challenge for a small online entrepreneur is how to make your site with an unknown brand succeed in charging a minimal fee amidst all the free information available on the Internet. Check the demand and supply equations for the kind of information you are providing. Are the subscribers demanding this information enough to want to pay? Can they get the same kind of information for less or even free elsewhere? How well have you established yourself as an expert in your field that people will be willing to pay a fee to read what you have to say? These, and other questions, need to be answered before you can expect your subscriptions-based site to earn money for you. Some businesses have combined free content (to drive volume and ad revenue) with premium content or services for subscribers only.

Whatever way you plan to make money on the Internet, be aware of the so-called "free trap." Start out by giving away your product and customers will disappear (along with your business) when you start charging.

The Internet as a business medium is still evolving. Home-based entrepreneurs must learn from the excesses of the dot-coms. As more and more people gets connected to the Web, the Internet will continue to be a potent force in commerce.

Make Big Money With YouTube in 2007

Here’s another way how you can make money from online videos. Magnify.net is a service that allows you to create your own video site from videos you found on YouTube, Metacafe, AOL Video and others.

You can also upload your own video and create a branded video channel that you control. Here’s an example of a Video Channel created using Magnify.net

Magnify.net provides upload, storage and free bandwidth. You’ll be able to create your own video community and generate revenue through Google AdSense or Revver.com.

So how do you actually make money from this?

Members make money from 50/50 revenue sharing on the advertising displayed on your Magnify.net site. The type of advertising messages shown on Magnify sites are

  • Text Links and Banner Ads Magnify shows contextual advertising messages in the margins of some pages.
  • Integrated Advertising Some videos syndicated from third-party hosting services contain integrated advertising. (For example, videos hosted by Revver include an advertisement after the end of the video.)
  • Video Pre-Roll A few Magnify sites are currently testing a pre-roll offering that plays a 10-30 second video advertisement before some video views.

So to earn money with Magnify and AdSense for example, you can enter your AdSense affiliate ID in Magnify members area. Your AdSense affiliate ID will then be used half of the times that a AdSense ad is shown on your site. The overall revenue share is thus 50% to you and 50% to Magnify.

Your AdSense affiliate earnings are recorded at Google, reported through Google’s AdSense affiliate interface, and paid to you directly by Google according to their terms and conditions.

You can use your own domain name for your Magnify site to further integrate your video channel with your own brand. This is what Shawn Collins did which allowed him to create Affiliate TV literally in minutes.

Some of the features include the ability to customize your video pages with built-in templates and admin tools, add a blog into your channel, view site statistics, and more.

Get Strong Referal Traffic from Social Networking Tools

Not all websites are made equal. The value of a website and its ability to attract natural votes from social websites depends a great deal on its overall niche and content.

For example, if your corporate website focuses on topics such as real estate, auto insurance or financial products like credit cards, it might be difficult in making an article on it popular in social websites like Digg, Reddit or Netscape.

The general lack of popular interest in the content of your website is usually the main problem. You can create an interesting press release and seed it with friendly votes but it remains unlikely that it will be very well-received.

Why? Because you are dealing with a crowd that favors attractive non-commercial content that usually revolves around popular or niche sub-cultures.

For these websites, the key to effective viral marketing not just lies in creating attractive on-site linkbait, but rather the ability to create linkbaits which grow into powerful sources of referral traffic through social websites.

The Viral Solution to Unattractive Websites: Gain Visitor Traffic by Association

The exact location of your linkbait article is of great importance. Determining the right placement is especially vital when your website is in an industry that generally does not appeal to social website audiences.

There is just one motto to follow: If you can’t get social traffic visitors to your desired website, get them through other websites or webpages.

There are generally two ways of doing this:

  1. Place your linkbait on a sub-domain or customized webpage that is aesthetically different from your main website. Leave sidebar navigation and a clickable header/logo that points back to your site’s homepage/sell-page and you’ll be likely to get some traffic from visitors attracted by the linkbait.
  2. Set up your linkbait on a separate domain or website and include a link to a highly relevant article at the bottom of the article. This is a popular strategy used by several websites and is very effective if the inserted link and copy is relevant.

A recent article which reached the Reddit Topspot used the second strategy and this is what we will be examining in detail.

Characteristics of a Successful Traffic and Link Bait: A Case Study

I’m a big fan of Reddit and I usually spend some time everyday going through all the links on their first two pages. A few days ago I came across a link to article which hit the Top spot on the frontpage.

I’ve seen articles of this sort before and thought I would write about it so you can learn how to develop an effective boilerplate webpage which can act as a referral source for massive traffic when it gets popular on social websites.

Let’s start by taking a look at this page, which contains the marketing article that got to the Reddit top spot.

reddit-top-spot.jpg

Here are some characteristics of the website:

  • The webpage is social media optimized. Note the prominent placement of Digg and Reddit buttons right at the top and bottom of the web page. This allows you to collect votes from on-site visitors.
  • It contains a opt-in newsletter as well as offers of a free EBook. Collecting names and emails is a good long-term strategy that is particularly useful when you want to sell new products or market your services.
  • Business Services are prominently displayed on the sidebar so that the thousands of visitors are aware of it.
  • The page is ad-free and all emphasis is directly towards the content.
  • The content is media-intensive. Pictures are very effective linkbaits because they require very little mental focus and are easily digested by all types of visitors, regardless of language or cognitive levels.
  • There is a relevant link with an intriguing copy right at the bottom of the page. This leads to a related marketing article on another website.

reddit-case-study-1.jpg

The link at the bottom of the article leads to this post on Marketing Pilgrim, a search engine marketing blog by SEM expert Andy Beal.

One could speculate that this linkbait was created by Marketing Pilgrim or perhaps it was placed by the original webmaster out of his or her own freewill, which would make it very kind indeed.

This is a classic example which demonstrates how it is possible to send traffic to any type of website in any industry.

One just needs to deftly disengage the linkbait from the original website and re-connect it through relevant linkage. Very simple and absolutely effective.
